Chris Núñez (born April 11, 1973) is an American tattoo artist. He is the co-owner of Love Hate Tattoos, a tattoo shop located in Miami Beach, Florida and the subject of the TLC reality television program Miami Ink.[1]
Núñez, who is of Cuban origin, received his first tattoo at age 16. The tattoo is now, however, "lost under a sea of new ones", as he revealed during Ink's first season. Núñez attended Chaminade Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Florida. He has also lived in Brazil and Ecuador, and speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. In addition to his career as a tattoo artist and a television personality, Núñez co-owns DeVille USA, a Miami-based clothing design company, and Miami nightclub Love Hate Lounge. His co-owner in both these ventures is Miami Ink co-star Ami James.
